This was a gift for my sister in Calif. And she absolutely LOVES IT !! She had recently had to throw away a wooden planter she'd had for years, so this was a welcome surprise for an early Birthday Present. She immediately thought of several places she wanted to place it.... but ended up putting it on the ground, in front of the lattice that lines her porch, and it is GORGEOUS ! The flowers she has planted really "pop" from sitting in front of that lattice and growing out of the white planter box. (In fact, the picture she sent me is still up on my computer to look at and admire !)The planter itself is wider than normal, so you can plant multiple rows of flowers or plants. The legs on it are not only attractive but they lift it off the ground enough so the roots won't grow thru the drainage hole (which is optional to use). So I am EXTREMELY pleased with this planter !! I am planning to get myself one, as well, soon. Maybe "more" than one ! :-)
