I bought these hooks to hang on my alumawood pergola. I envisioned hanging plants and hummingbird feeders, etc.. I did use one for a feeder but then didn’t use any of the remainder of the hooks for a year. I decided the I wanted to hang those string lights in my backyard. I couldn’t find any solution to mount these light to my pergola that didn’t include damaging the alumawood. I remembered that I had these hooks. They worked perfectly! They fit through the mount holes on the light string and I could hang them from my pergola. I am buying more so that I don’t have any droopiness in the lights. They will have double duty because I now already have the hooks up to hang plants/wind chimes when I want to add to my ambience.
