About 1/3 the cost per ounce of the usual 16oz jars of peanuts and we live on them, drinking them right out of the jar practically, so cost eventually becomes an issue. Two of us went thru one of the huge kegs of nuts in a week. It's a dietary thing, it just Sounds out of control, but these won't make you fat if you actually know how many servings you are eating and figure it into your daily allotment. The protein grams are great, carbs are high, fiber not as high as you'd think, it's the sodium basically that's a no-no. It's all on the label. Quality-wise these are excellent, nice fat nuts, no scrawny Spanish peanuts, no brown hulls, all A+.
