Perfect for my plants, in between potting them to BIG pots!! I love the size and square!!I bought both the "black" as well as the gray pots. At first, I was quite happy with them, they seemed just fine. I have some very similar pots from Hydro Farm called Active Aqua containers, and once I compared them to that other brand that is when I realized how low quality these are. Besides being sturdier, the other brand is significantly cheaper around $1.50 per pot. Depending on if you buy 6 or 12 of these inferior pots, they can cost ~$3 each.I didn't notice with the "black" ones, but the gray ones came the next day and I noticed they have a lot of dark grease or similar on them, likely from the manufacturing process. I'm betting that's not a food safe grease so now I have to wash all these pots with soap...I grow organic peppers and I am very cautious when it comes wo exposing my plants to chemicals. So big inconvenience right off the bat...need to wash them.When washing them, I noticed how the plastic is so inconsistent...it's very thin in some areas at the bottom, like 1/2 the thickness or less, and these aren't near as thick or sturdy as the other brand I'm using. This couldn't photograph, but what you can see in the pics is that in areas where there is supposed to be a cutout, there is a lot of leftover plastic, which chips off when you touch it. Also notice all the plastic bumps and chips on the surface...these pots chip off flakes of plastic as you handle them. I am worried about this contaminating my soil and plants...why would I want hundreds of plastic flakes getting into my soil and on the plants? Is this plastic BPA free? I'll have to ask the manufacturer, but I don't see any way to do so easily because these came with no product label with contact info.Minor annoyance - I called them "black" because they are not black, but a medium to dark gray. These clash with the better brand of pots I have that is similar looking. So this pot really comes in darkish gray, light gray, and green...there is no proper Black color.Another minor annoyance but still worth noting - Every pot has an ugly white and yellow sticker on it, and some come off easy enough but others leave behind a sticky mess. Why waste packaging and label every pot? If much rather you put a business card in the box and that's it, or even just a proper box with product details and company contact info.I wanted the square shaped pots which are less likely to tip over. Pots are sturdy with nice bottom saucers. I might decorate a couple with stickers or paint. I recommend them and might buy another set. (They present nicely when I gave a potted cutting to a friend.)These planters are about the 1 gallon plant size. The bottoms are not attached and are lightweight. Also, these are not white even though that is how they were advertised. I needed white but did not have enough time to return as I am using them for an Easter project. I tried spraying them with white craft paint and the color ran. I had to then spray several layers of white paint. Not ideal but needed to finish the project.Is as described. Nice durable pots (with trays included is a nice touch). Perfect for seedlings that have out grow their Dixie cups and are developing for their final container. Will buy againThese are good nursery pots. Sturdy with sufficient drainage, especially with the legs.One small problem - received 6 pots, but only 5 trays!These planting pots are perfectly sized and come complete with drip pans. Work perfectly with great drainage. Plants are loving them and the color decor is delightful.good shape and fits any regular window desks
